TOWN OF UNITY- PAYROLL CLERK 

The Town of Unityis seeking a highly motivated and responsible individual for theposition of Payroll Clerk commencing immediately. This in-scope position requires an energetic team player with strong public relations, organizational skills, computer literacy and excellent oral and written communication abilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS:

  • Minimum Grade 12
  • Knowledge of computerized accounting, payroll systems and Saskatchewan Labor legislations.
  • Experience in dealing with the Workers Compensation Board, Canada Revenue Agency and other governmental bodies in relation to various aspects of payroll.
  • Proven communication and public relation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, to prioritize the workload and complete tasks in an organized manner.
  • Willingness to further education/training courses as recommended by the CAO.
  • Microsoft Office/data entry experience.

Working hours are between 9.00 to 17.00 and starting hourly wage as per C.U.P.E. Local 2752 is $26.60.
